Premier High School – Texarkana (Class 2017)

Kadee is currently attending Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia, Arkansas while pursuing a degree in business management. Although she is new to the major, she has already proven to have a mind for business and is the proud owner of her own southern chic boutique.

Rockin’ K Boutique opened its doors on September 8, 2018, and is off to a great start. “My vision is to provide women of all ages with the latest trends in southern fashion at affordable prices,” says Kadee. She goes on to say that she hopes to continue to grow a successful business and expand her online following to reach customers outside of Arkansas.

It can be challenging to be a business owner and a college student, but Kadee‘s experience at Premier High School (PHS) taught her the importance of time management and that hard work pays off. Kadee’s goal, when she first enrolled at PHS, was to get to work and graduate early. She says that the support of Campus Director Heather McNeill and Secretary Lana Webb made a lasting impression. “If I would not have gone to Premier and met some of the people I did, I would not be where I am today,” says Kadee.

Kadee Michaelis is a competitive barrel racer in her spare time.

Earning a college degree has always been the goal for Kadee and she is enjoying meeting new people and making new friends who continue to support her education and business dreams. “Don’t limit your challenges; challenge your limits,” a quote by Jerry Dunn continues to encourage Kadee to work hard in and out of the classroom.
