College fairs are a unique opportunity for students and parents to meet college admissions counselors and representatives face-to-face. It is a chance for students to learn and explore what colleges have to offer in terms of majors and extracurriculars. College fairs are also a great way to be introduced to, not only the idea of attending college, but to see the scope and variety of colleges and institutions that are out there.
This fall, we are lucky to be partnering with the Texas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (TACRAO), a nonprofit, voluntary and professional association of registrars and admission staff from regionally accredited universities and community colleges in the state of Texas. TACRAO is inviting ResponsiveEd students in the Dallas, Austin, and San Antonio regions to attend college fairs that will provide students to resources and information from in-state and out-of-state colleges.
These college fair events are scheduled to take place in the following areas:
Dallas: Monday, September 10, 2018, 1-3 p.m. @ The STEM Academy of Lewisville, 650 Bennett Ln. Lewisville, TX 75057
Austin: Wednesday, September 26, 2018, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. @ Premier High School – Austin South, 1701 W. Ben White, Ste 100A, Austin, TX 78704
San Antonio: Friday, October 26, 2018, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. @ Premier High School -San Antonio West,6218 NW Loop 410, San Antonio, TX 78238.
Any ResponsiveEd student is welcome to attend the college fair in their area.
