ResponsiveEd teacher pay for the 2021-2022 school year
All ResponsiveEd salaried teachers work ten months and are paid bi-weekly in 26 equal pay periods. A teacher’s salary is annualized based on the date of hire. In order to be eligible for the full amount, a teacher must be on staff the entire school year.

iSchool Virtual Academy
iSchool Virtual Academy teachers work remotely, therefore the school is not tied to one cluster. iSchool Virtual Academy teachers use the salary schedule in the cluster closest to their home address. If the teacher’s address is greater than 50 miles to a cluster, the Texas Teacher state minimum salary schedule will be used. Fehl-Price Classical Academy
The Fehl-Price campus has an alternative pay schedule. For more information, please contact your Campus Director or Donna Cerra. For Fehl-Price, service records are required to determine your salary and will be reviewed for credited years of service. Any questions on your years of service, please contact Jessica Gray at ext. 266.
ResponsiveEd utilizes “Credited Years of Service” (CYOS) up to 20 years based on the following scale:
- Up to five years for every complete year (i.e., ten months) of verified full-time teaching experience outside of ResponsiveEd (public or private, as reflected on a teachers service records), and
- One year for every complete school year (i.e., ten months) of verified full-time teaching experience with ResponsiveEd.
- Teachers receive credit for completed years of service. The salary is based on completed years of service.
Effective September 1, 2019, all teacher new hires are required to turn in their service records during the onboarding process. Please contact your previous district/campus to receive your service records. Teachers will be eligible to receive retroactive pay for up to 45 days past their date of hire with corresponding records. Service Records can be emailed to [email protected]
