Within this position, she will be responsible for HR leadership and oversight, professional development, benefits, risk management and recruiting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Flores joins ResponsiveEd bringing more than 25 years of experience in human resources, most recently working at Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star as the human resources vice president and chief people officer. \u00a0She also worked as the chief operating officer at Girl Scouts of Northeast Texas.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u201cI am excited to be a part of an organization with a mission to provide hope to families looking for a quality education for their children,\u201d says Flores. \u201cAs we continue to respond to the needs of the communities we serve, it is important to stay committed to the challenge of recruiting and developing the best educators possible.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Flores earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin &#8211; Oshkosh and is an active member of SHRM and Dallas HR. She has been awarded a lifetime certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and is also a Senior Certified Professional of Society for Human Resource Management. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ResponsiveEd<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00ae<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> is a non-profit corporation that operates more than 70 tuition-free public schools throughout Texas and Arkansas, including Premier High Schools\u2120, ResponsiveEd Classical Academies, Founders Classical Academies<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00ae<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, Quest Academies, iSchool High<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00ae<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and iSchool Virtual Academy.
