As a charter school, Founders Classical Academy operates with a smaller budget and fewer resources than the other public schools in our neighborhood. We are proud to provide our students with an excellent education on a small budget, and we are grateful to the supporters who contribute their time and treasure to help us do so.
Parent volunteers play an essential role at Founders Classical Academy. Whether you volunteer for just one hour or over a hundred hours, your help is essential in supporting the education of our students. Some volunteers may assist in the classroom with instructional or clerical tasks. Others may help shelve books in the library, assist during lunch, or work with the PTO on fundraisers. Your volunteer efforts teach our children the importance of spending time in the service of a worthy cause.
We welcome parent volunteers to campus to help before, during, and after school. During the school year, please check the lists below for the volunteer opportunities available.
Volunteer involvement is essential to the continued success of our school, and the opportunities to volunteer are numerous. Whether you enjoy reading with a classroom of children, cataloging books in a quiet library, or assisting a teacher with a project from home, there is a volunteer opportunity for you.
ResponsiveEd Policy requires that every volunteer undergo a background check and sign a confidentiality agreement before being allowed to work on a site.
- All volunteers should allow up to 3 weeks for processing.
- To verify that you have been included in the Volunteer Data Bank, please contact your child’s campus.
- For instructions on completing the Volunteer Application Form, click here.
- For a copy of the confidentiality agreement, click here.
Volunteer applications will remain active for one year from the application date. A volunteer must reapply each year in order to be considered for volunteer approval.
By completing an application online, you are also agreeing with an electronic signature to having us request a background check. The school district pays for the actual background check; campuses will have access to the current volunteer list.
