Responsive Education Solutions is a community of schools dedicated to helping students of all ages achieve their full potential. ResponsiveEd schools are tuition-free, public charter schools.

Charter schools were formed by the Texas Legislature in 1995. Among other initiatives, these new schools were created in order to provide choices for learning opportunities in public schools and to encourage the development of innovative learning methods. ResponsiveEd is currently the largest charter school district in the state, with over 60 campuses and an extended charter to open 20 new campuses by 2014.

In an effort to support the legislature’s goals for continued improvement in our schools, students get more than a one-size-fits-all education at ResponsiveEd schools – they get individual attention and an academic program that matches their unique abilities. We allow students to learn at their own pace and help them strengthen their weak areas, while enhancing their academic and personal strengths.

Each semester, thousands of young people look forward to attending our schools and/or graduating from our campuses with a High School diploma; most will continue on to college or other higher education opportunities and career training. Many of these students came to our campuses after dropping-out of traditional schools. In the past decade, we successfully helped educate more than 10,000 students. Our goal is to continue helping young people reach their potential by educating the individual – not the class.
